Hi there! My name’s Abby. I’m an operating room nurse, specializing in cardiac and transplants. In my downtime, I travel and bake, thus the creation of this site. I thrive on Belgium dark chocolate, scoping out deals at flea markets, catching the next flight out of the country, and have a massive soft spot for stuffed cookies.

As a child, I remember going to sleep to the sound of my father whisking up cake batter or setting the oven timer. My dad would bake for pleasure every night after work, and I’d wake up to an assortment of cakes in the morning. Due to my dad’s passion to cook and bake – via Pavlov’s theory – I became to love the chemistry and act of baking.

Since leaving the nest, I’ve lived on three different continents, but with every new abode, I break it in with a batch of cookies. So now is the time to put all the fun times spent in the kitchen onto this site. I hope you enjoy making these goodies as much as I do, and I hope to bake for you one of these days.
